The people in order of appearance, from left to right, are: Leroy G. Flamm Mike White Don Gladden Tim White Additional information from Mike White (January 21, 2009): If you look at AstroBugs Newsletters you will find a picture that matches the guy wearing the red shorts, Don Gladden! You can also find a map that will take you to his house at: 59400 Nine Mile Rd. South Lyon, Mi. (I forget the zip code) But if you look at this photograph, you can see the house number (home to New Image Software, check the Arcadian)! Besides Don, I'm the one holding a glass of lemonade, my brother Tim is the one with the beard (author of Lizzard Lunch, Parashot, Carnival Rapture, and co-author of Treasure Hunt, all of which can be found on Niagra Bugs Club Tape, even though the tape was never really official, and the tall elderly gentleman on the left is Leroy G. Flamm! This is perhaps the only photo of Leroy to be found anywhere outside his immediate family. Leroy was only at Dons house three times, 1983 (at the Astro Bash), 1985 (with the PenMan and his hommade EPROM burner), and in 1988 (with the ZGRASS add under)! My brother Tim was NOT at the AstroBash, nor did he accompany me in 1988. Therefore, this picture was taken during the July 4th weekend 1985! On this day, I gave Leroy an AstroBasic and started him toward engineering the tape interface for Music Maker! He gave me his spare EPROM burner board which I had to get parts for and even send it to him in Pa. before it worked, (it's the one photographed at the 2002 CCAG and appears on BallyAlley.com. Right after this picture was taken (by Peggy Gladden I believe, it had to be her or Lois Flamm) Leroy journeyed on to "the windy city" and met Stanley Kendall and John Perkins! This is where John told Leroy about the third start in BRB that gave Leroy the idea of putting Blue Ram Utility (which is partially written in Basic) physically into a game cartridge, voiding the need for the tape recorder, and thereby inventing "Basicarts" as Ken Lill would later name them.
